The secondary wood is poplar. The chest has beautiful graceful long legs with a cabriole knee ending in a pad foot: lovely proportions. The top of the chest has a stepped ledge that leads downs to the 11 drawers that range in size. The drawer bottoms are hand chamfered, with old nails. This highboy has period style brass bail pull in
