2018 Puro Rofe, Tilama, Lanzarote Designation_VdF The 2012 vintage produced aThe Puro Rofe project was spearheaded by winemaker Rayco Fernandez who then assembled a like minded team of grape growers to showcase the unique terroir of Lanzarote. This cuvee is from 100 year old organically farmed vines on black volcanic sand, just a few short km from the Atlantic Ocean. Whole clusters are crushed by foot in stone lagars with a short maceration and then fermented aged in French oak barrels. Only ~700 bottles made!
