Bound in full vellum with a large gilt frame and swirling fleurons decorating the covers. The front cover has been accented with red and green watercolors to a very pleasing effect. A checkerboard pattern in gilt on the spine has also been colored in blue, green, and red. Gold and silver endpapers, top edge green. A small sticker of the "Loescher & Seeber"
