Knud Jans (1916 1985) was a self taught Danish painter who began practicing in 1948. His work is largely experimental: Jans didnt stick to a single style, subject, or canvas, using and often combining several. Widely exhibited in his lifetime, Janss pieces have since been popular at auction and beyond. This painting, made some way in to his nearly 40 year long career, uses softer tones alongside a
