Black and White Bay Island Palm Maui when the wind abatedThe majesty of this Canary Palm growing on Bay Island in Newport Beach caught my eye. After I photographed it I sadly learned that shortly afterwards the tree was cut down. The first home on Bay Island was built in 1907, so it is quite possible this palm was 100+ years old. Im glad I had the opportunity to document it. Set of 5 cards
