The Santa Ana winds were strong that day, whipping up waves and swirling sand into the air. At the top of the dune, they stretched their arms out as if flying, leaning back against the force of the wind. The scene was pure magicthe freedom and joy of youth, infectious and uplifting, like laughter carried on the breeze.
