Back Information: Fort Holmes Erected by the British during the war of 1812, is situated on the highest point of the island at the rear of Fort Mackinac, and is 339 feet above the level of the lake. Condition: Good, there is a vertical crease going through the middle of the postcard and the edges are slightly worn. There is smudging and aging on both the front and the back of the postcard. 1920s
